International architectural competition project developed as a proposal for the transformation and development of Studentski Grad in Belgrade.
Concept
The revitalization of Studentski Grad focuses on creating a coherent landscape and public-space strategy that prioritizes students and improves the overall quality of the complex.
The concept removes parking from the inner areas, reorganizes circulation, and establishes a clear hierarchy of spaces, including a park zone, a central campus platform, and a main square for gathering and events.
The residential blocks are further upgraded through improved thermal insulation, energy efficiency, room comfort, natural lighting, and contemporary standards of accommodation. The proposal also explores the activation of ground-floor and roof-level spaces, strengthening the connection between the buildings, public realm, and everyday student life.
